Fort Worth Police Seek Driver in Deadly Hit-and-run Near Texas Wesleyan

Fort Worth detectives are asking for help identifying the suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run Tuesday night.Police said the victim was standing near a curb about 10:30 p.m. when he was struck by an SUV driving erratically in the 3200 block of East Rosedale Avenue, near Texas Wesleyan University.The man died from his injuries. He has yet to be identified.The suspect fled west, and a driver who witnessed the crash followed the SUV before losing it near Mount Vernon Avenue and Collard Street area.The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored 1990s-model SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban or Ford Expedition. After hitting the man, the SUV drove away dragging a metal object from the rear quarter panel on the driver's side.Anyone with information can call police at 817-392-4867.  Continue reading...
