Fort Worth Police Arrest Man Accused of Killing Man, Shooting Woman in the Face During Home Invasion

Police have identified and arrested a man they say broke into a Fort Worth home and shot two residents, killing one of them, in January 2018.Bryan James Hayward, 23, was charged with capital murder.Police say Hayward was armed with a pistol when he broke into Marcus Dwayne Newton and Andrea Warren's home on New York Avenue near Berry Street and Interstate 35W just before 6:30 a.m.Warren, then 35, was shot in the face and required extensive surgery, she said in a Facebook live video posted from her hospital bed.Her boyfriend, 36-year-old Newton, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.
