Former Dallas Lab Tech Says in Lawsuit That Workers Celebrated Payday by Groping Each Other

A former employee is suing a Dallas laboratory over what she says was months of sexual harassment in the office during weekly events employees called "Gropening Day."Holly Pinks, who was hired in January 2016 by Southwest Laboratory in Old East Dallas, said she learned about "Gropening Day" on her first day at the lab. According to the lawsuit, male employees — including her supervisor — told her that every Friday "everyone would be getting groped or touched inappropriately." Pinks was afraid to come into the office on her first Friday on the job, the lawsuit says.
