Elizabeth Frizell Wants Recount in Razor-thin Dallas DA Race Against John Creuzot

After mounting a ferocious late charge but apparently coming up short, Elizabeth Frizell says she'll seek a recount in her Democratic race for Dallas County District Attorney against John Creuzot.Frizell, a former state District Judge who left her post to run for district attorney, finished 612 votes behind Creuzot, according to an unofficial tally by Dallas County elections officials.Frizell has not conceded defeat to Creuzot, also a former state district judge."Democrats voted in record numbers this election, and because the difference in votes is too close to call (less than half of 1%), I feel it is in the best interest of Dallas County residents to make sure the election results are complete and confirmed," Frizell said in a statement released Thursday.
