Drunken-driving Suspect Plunges Into Lake, Tries to Swim to Fort Worth to Elude Arlington Police

A drunken-driving suspect tried to take a long drive off a short pier Friday evening, Arlington police say.An officer was pursuing the SUV near Richard Simpson Park around 6:45 p.m. after another motorist reported that the vehicle had hit hers two times.Dash-cam footage shows the officer following the SUV through a nearby neighborhood.
