Driver Pulled Safely From SUV in High-water Rescue in Fort Worth

A woman was pulled safely from an SUV that got caught in high water Thursday morning in Fort Worth.It happened around 12:55 a.m. on Cunningham Street, east of Crowley Road, Fort Worth police said. The woman was safely recovered, while her vehicle will be extracted once water levels recede, police said.High water has been a problem in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as power outages and flooding concerns have popped up with this week's rains. Most of the damage has been concentrated in Denton, Wise and Grayson counties.The wet weather stands a good chance of continuing through Friday, as most of the area remained under a flash-flood watch.Here's the latest forecast from NBC5:Tonight: Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
