Driver Killed After Crashing Into Pole in Arlington

A driver was killed after his vehicle struck a signal pole early Sunday in Arlington, police said. Officers responded about 5:30 a.m. to a vehicle crashed into a pole in the 100 block of West Division Street, near North Cooper Street. The driver, who has not been identified, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No one else was in the vehicle.
