Young musicians from all around Texas are competing for a chance to be named the best accordion player in the state, and you'll have a chance to hear them live this weekend in Dallas.The 11th annual Big Squeeze youth accordion contest is organized by Austin-based Texas Folklife, and will hold auditions at Dallas' Encore Park at 2 p.m. Saturday.The contest is part of a free festival celebrating the accordion starting at 1 p.m. ¡Encore Pachanga! will feature five performers in addition to the youth contest, including previous contest winners from Dallas.
