Denton County High School Put on Lockdown After ‘alleged Bomb Threat'

Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club was put on lockdown Monday afternoon because of an "alleged bomb threat."Northwest ISD, which confirmed the lockdown on Twitter, said students were safe in classrooms.The district said Medlin Middle School and Beck and Lakeview elementary schools had also been locked down as a precaution.The lockdowns at Beck and Lakeview, which had been dismissed for the day, were lifted about 10 minutes later. Medlin planned to release its students at the regular 4:10 p.m. dismissal time.Northwest ISD said that Trophy Club and Denton County authorities were investigating the threat.  Continue reading...
