Dallas Police Association Extends Its Reach by Joining National Fraternal Order of Police

The Dallas Police Association is joining a national organization to expand its power within and outside of the state. Starting next month, the DPA will become part of the national Fraternal Order of Police. There are more than 2,200 local FOP chapters in the country, including in Houston, Irving and McKinney."Aligning with several other cities throughout the state and in the metroplex allows police organizations to have a stronger voice and a greater reach," said Michael Mata, the DPA's president.   Continue reading...
