Cinépolis Luxury Theater Opening in Plano's Shops at Willow Bend Delayed to Early 2020

Construction has started on the Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas at Plano's Shops at Willow Bend. The theater planned to be ready this year, but said it's pushed its completion date into early 2020.The theater will have 10 screens in 40,000 square feet and will be similar to the Victory Park location that opened last summer. The Victory theater is slightly larger at 44,000 square feet but has eight screens.The chain of 21 theaters in seven states is known for its reclining leather seats and food service of gourmet snacks and selection of beer, wine and cocktails.Cinépolis is the latest addition to the Plano-mall which last year opened new outdoor wing of restaurants as part of a $125 million renovation.
