A suspect shot a man in the leg and carjacked his van from outside a southeast Dallas convenience store overnight, police said. Officers were dispatched about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to the 7000 block of Trinity Forest Way, near Jim Miller Road. The suspect fled before they arrived and remains at large. The owner of the van was transported to a hospital. His condition is not known. Another carjacking recently occurred across town in northwest Dallas. The vehicle owner died after being dragged Monday night about one mile behind his own vehicle that the was driving suspect, police said. Continue reading...
