Buc-ee's No Longer Just a Texas Tradition, as Company Opens First New Location Outside State

Texans' favorite road trip pitstop Buc-ee's is getting some love from an entirely different demographic for the first time since 1982 – Alabamans.The Texas convenience store chain, made famous by its pristine bathrooms, friendly service and healthy wages for workers, opened its first location outside the state Monday.The store opened with over 120 fueling stations in Baldwin County, Alaba. to a line of 100 customers eager to see the smiling beaver in their neck of the woods for the first time, according to the Midland Reporter-Telegram.A release from the company states that "the Baldwin location boasts over 50,000 square feet, 124 fueling positions, and the biggest, most pristine bathrooms the state of Alabama has ever seen."  Continue reading...
