House General Investigating Committee chairman Morgan Meyer, R-Dallas, said he will convene a hearing Monday "with the intention of launching an investigation" into Empower Texans chief Michael Quinn Sullivan's claims about Speaker Dennis Bonnen and sidekick Rep. Dustin Burrows.Sullivan has said that the two top House leaders offered his group a House media credential in return for agreeing not to campaign against the speaker and trying to defeat 10 Republican incumbents not in favor with Bonnen and Burrows.Bonnen has denied providing Sullivan with a target list.
