Body Found Near I-35 in Denton Likely From Hit-and-run, Police Say

Denton police say a body that was found Sunday morning was likely from a hit-and-run accident overnight.Southbound Interstate 35 in Denton will be shut down starting at Oak Street with traffic being diverted to the service road, police said.A caller reported the body about 10:30 a.m., said Denton Public Information Officer Shane Kizer.Police continue to investigate and are searching for leads.
