Hurst police say they're investigating the shooting of a 22-year-old man who died early Tuesday after a friend rushed him to the hospital with a head wound.The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Jacob Zarate of Southlake. A driver on Airport Freeway called 911 late Monday to report that his friend had been shot in the head and that he was driving him to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, according to Hurst police. Officers arrived at the hospital, where Zarate later died from his wounds.It's unclear where Zarate was shot, or whether there is a suspect.
