Two residents escaped a Highland Village house fire in Denton County overnight. Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke and flames from a small, wood-frame house in the 120 block of Hickory Ridge Drive about midnight Friday. Crews quickly got the fire under control with help from the Lewisville and Flower Mound fire departments. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Continue reading...
