Dallas Chains Responsible For Four Worst Foods in 2009

"Eat This, Not That" named top 20 worst dining out dishes

FrontBurner called this deep-fried item to our attention; Men's Health and "Eat This, Not That' have named the 20 worst things to stuff in your meat hole at a dining establishment.

Items like The Worst Breakfast Sandwich of 2009 -- Hardee's Monster Biscuit, which nets 710 calories and 51 grams of fat -- aren't completely unexpected. (They call it a monster, guys...) But when we looked at the worst salad, our jaws dropped.

Dallas-based chain T.G.I. Fridays gets the dubious honor of having the worst salad, the Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad has 1,360 calories (which is 3/4 of your daily recommended caloric intake, kids), and...get this...an unknown amount of sodium and fat content.

Why don't we know? Because T.G.I Fridays refused to disclose nutritional content.

They're not the only Dallas-based chain that's on the naughty list; the worst kid's meal belongs to Chili’s Pepper Pals Country-Fried Chicken Crispers with Ranch Dressing and Homestyle Fries with a sickening 82 grams of fat and 1,110 calories. No wonder our kids are so obese.

But the biggest offender is a two time lister -- Romano's Macaroni Grill. They're on the list for both the worst dessert and the worst pasta. Dessert wise, their Dessert Ravioli holds 1,630 calories and 74 grams of fat, but the real shocker is the pasta: 2,430 calories and 128 grams of fat for Spaghetti and Meatballs with Meat Sauce.
