Be Ready for Nighttime Closures on Dallas North Tollway

Drivers on the Dallas North Tollway can expect overnight closures through Wednesday.

The LBJ Express team will be setting down beams along Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway through the beginning of April.

The work will result in full closures of the tollway over LBJ through Wednesday morning.

"There will be delays. But be careful; stay off your phones," LBJ Express Project spokeswoman Heather Delapp said. "Safety is the top priority for the project, so we want to make sure that they read the signs and message boards that are out and just allow that extra time for construction."

Here is a list of the scheduled lane closures:

10 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday:

  • Full closure of southbound DNT from Keller Springs to Harvest Hill.
  • Closure of the left lane on the southbound frontage road from Belt Line to Harvest Hill. On-ramp from Spring Valley to southbound DNT will be closed.
  • Exit ramp from southbound DNT to westbound 635 will be closed.
  • Northwest and southwest DNT loops will be closed.

  • Exit ramp from northbound DNT to eastbound IH 635 will be closed.
  • Northeast and southeast DNT loops will be closed.

10 p.m. Tuesday through 5 a.m. Wednesday:

  • Full closure of southbound DNT from Keller Springs to Harvest Hill.
