While dining at Smoke, an item on the cocktail list caught our eye: The Closer. For $140, you get a bottle of prosecco and a key to the best available room at the adjoining Belmont Hotel, which is a pretty good deal if you luck out and score one of the fancier suites. This racy combination is the brainchild of bar manager Brian McCullough and owner Chris Jeffers, who added it the menu in early September. "We had a restaurant and a hotel so it sounded like a good thing to do," McCullough said. "No one else in Dallas was offering anything like it." While it took a while for it to take off, it's quickly gaining popularity—McCullough says it's ordered an average of three times a week. [The Feast]
