I am proud to announce my bracket is pretty good after round one of the NCAA tournament. I say good, because I didn't kill myself, but I'm not in first place either. Everyone was nailed by the Wake Forest upset on Friday night. If you had Cleveland St. congratulations. I had Wake in my Elite Eight, but I'd be willing to be I wasn't alone.
I was on pace to have a great night last night until Florida St. choked away a 15-point lead to Wisconsin, and became the third 5-seed to lose to a 12-seed. Siena's comeback in 2 OT's saved me from having a 1-3 night cap.
After day two I'm 24-8 (KXAS bracket), 25-7 (2nd bracket). All but one (Wake) of my Sweet 16 are alive. This weekend is make or break. And since we do our brackets here (KXAS) for recreational purposes, I guess it's just for bragging rights.
