Tyler Clutts, Jeff Heath Square Off in Second Big Fight of Camp

Clutts and Heath had their run-in during team drills on Sunday

The second big fight of training camp 2015 happened on Sunday, with fullback Tyler Clutts facing off with safety Jeff Heath after a big hit.

The fight itself was pretty typical of training camp: A lot of shoving, then a whole lot of teammates get involved, then it’s just kind of over.

We treat it the same way every time,” Heath said afterward, per the Dallas Morning News. “We do what we have to do and then after it we are teammates again. I already talked to him. We’re good.”

Just like in the aftermath of the first big fight of training camp, between corner Tyler Patmon and receiver Dez Bryant, the idea that the presence of a few fights in training camp is actually a good thing was cited quickly--by Clutts himself, in this case.

“It was just a shot that I got a little frustrated with. He was just playing fast and it was a competitive situation,” Clutts said. “It was kind of just both of us letting our emotions take control. We’re just as good of buddies as we were walking off. It’s good to see feistiness. I would be a little disappointed if some of that didn’t go on.”
