John Garrett Applies For Head Coaching Job At Delaware

John Garrett currently serves as the passing game coordinator/tight ends coach for Dallas

The next Cowboys coach to depart Dallas may be John Garrett, the brother of head coach Jason Garrett.

Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com is reporting that John Garrett has applied for the head coaching position at the University of Delaware, a position left vacant when the Blue Hens fired KC Keeler, their head coach of the last 11 seasons.

John Garrett, who currently serves as the Cowboys’ passing game coordinator and tight ends coach, last coached in the college ranks in 2007, when he served as assistant head coach at the University of Virginia. He interviewed for the offensive coordinator job with the Dolphins last offseason.

Already this offseason, the Cowboys have bid adieu to assistant strength and conditioning coach Walt Williams, running backs coach Skip Peete and defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.
