Before just recently, we could say with a smile that we had never seen 69-year-old Cowboys owner Jerry Jones rap about pizza. But unfortunately, those days are behind us.
In an ad released this week, Jones can be seen doing just that--rapping. About pizza. Jerry Jones. If it sounds bad, well, that’s because it is bad. The ad makes us yearn for the days when a love of pizza merely caused Jones to break into dance, which was still uncomfortable to watch, but peanuts in comparison to what’s being called “Hip Hop Jerry.”
See for yourself, but don’t say we didn’t warn you:

From the accompanying press release we learn that the commercials will run through the 2013 Super Bowl--MORE THAN SIX MONTHS AWAY (!)--in Dallas-Fort Worth, Waco and Austin. Now if you need us, we’ll be moving to someplace that isn’t Dallas-Fort Worth, Waco or Austin.
