The Dallas Cowboys have signed Jamize Olawale, a fullback out of the University of North Texas.
Olawale actually played wide receiver at UNT, but Dallas moved him to fullback when he was brought to camp this week. Apparently, the team likes the option he provides as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
Dallas also signed a defensive lineman for a sort of a trial period over the weekend, in Texas A&M product and Plano native Ben Bass. Bass was used sparingly at A&M, but he has a solid frame for a defensive lineman in the NFL, at 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds.
