Cowboys Sign OL Pat McQuistan

McQuistan spent four seasons with Dallas between 2006-2009

Former Dallas Cowboys’ offensive lineman Pat McQuistan is a Dallas Cowboy once again, after signing with the team on Monday.

McQuistan worked out for the Cowboys on Friday, and with the release of undrafted Notre Dame tackle Taylor Dever on the same day, the signing comes as little surprise.

McQuistan was drafted by Dallas out of Weber State in the seventh round of the 2006 Draft. He spent four seasons with the Cowboys before being traded to the Dolphins in exchange for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2010 preseason. He spent a year in Miami before moving onto New Orleans, where he spent 2011, appearing in 10 games for the Saints.

In his return to Dallas, McQuistan brings some depth and versatility to the group, as a guy who can play guard and tackle.
