Cowboys Dump Injured Rossum

The Dallas Cowboys dumped Allen Rossum who never did recover from a hamstring injury.

The Dallas native injured his hammy on his first play as a member of the Cowboys. He returned the kick October 25 a grand total of 16 yards before leaving with the injury.

Rossum became expendable when Patrick Crayton returned a punt for a touchdown against the Falcons and did it again a week later against Seattle.

Felix Jones became the primary kickoff returner when he came back from a knee injury.

Cornerback Cletis Gordon was signed Monday to take Rossum's spot on the roster.
