Aikman Nails Hole-in-One at Plano Course

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman has another athletic highlight for his resume -- a hole-in-one.

The three-time Super Bowl winner recorded the ace Wednesday on the Kings Course at Gleneagles Country Club in the Dallas suburb of Plano.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the 5-iron from 174 yards on the fourth hole hit the flagstick and dropped into the cup. Aikman tells the newspaper it was the highlight of an otherwise pedestrian nine-hole round of match play.

The Hall of Fame quarterback says his first ace felt good, "but I have had other highlights."
