NBC 5 and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) would like for you to vote today for your favorite “Start with Trust” short video produced by local high school students now through March 28th on www.youtube.com/thedallasbbb.
Participants from the BTW Film Club of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas and the Magnet Communication Program of Richardson High School in Richardson worked in teams to produce short videos on the theme of “Start with Trust” to gain valuable creative and marketing experience. The two schools are sharing the videos on social media as a contest for a chance to win prizes for themselves and for their schools.
One team will be selected as the overall group winner and one team from each school will be selected as runner up in the BBB Dallas Student Video Showcase. Winners will be named based on how well the theme of trust is conveyed and how many votes each video receives on the Dallas BBB Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The team named overall group winner will receive three (3) GoPro Hero03+ Silver Edition cameras, $600 cash, a trophy and their school will receive a donation of $3,500 in equipment. The runner up receives $600 cash, a plaque and $2,500 in equipment. All student participants will receive a certificate of participation.
