From Vintage Martini. Black Chanel cocktail hat from their 2009 runway, $845.

Vintage accessories are highly sought after for good reason. More timeless, durable, and easily collectible than clothing - classic accessories are always a great investment. We've shopped the best vintage accessories collections in town and now we're sharing our finds with you.

Our favorite of the high-end accessories include a stunning black Chanel cocktail hat straight-off their 2009 haute couture runway available at Vintage Martini, a delicate Gucci cocktail bag from Archive Vintage, and patent Judith Leiber handbag at Zola's Everyday Vintage. (See all these picks and more in our gallery)

No contemplation of Dallas' luxury vintage scene would be complete without mentioning Heritage Auction Galleries December event at which priceless handbags, luggage, and jewelry from retailers like Hermes will be on the block for your bidding pleasure. In our fantasies, the green alligator top-handle bag by Gucci would wind up under our Christmas tree. We wouldn't turn down the unique, diamond and sapphire brooch from Van Cleef & Arpels either.

Want awesome vintage accessories but looking for a steal? Then don't miss the gorgeous raspberry suede Neiman Marcus clutch at Ahab Bowen for only $30, a velvet emerald caplet and cognac Calvin Klein pumps on sale at Lula B's, and the hard-sided metallic 90's clutches from Vintage Martini.

If jewelry is your first love, the jeweled Boucher necklace available at Archive Vintage is a must-have. A variety of silver and gold cufflinks at Zola's are perfect for both sexes, and earrings from Dior and a flamboyant necklace by Lanvin are tops on our list from Vintage Martini. And speaking of jewels from Vintage Martini, they've got a trunk show on Saturday, November 27th you won't want to miss. Celeb favorite Sherri Jennings will be in town with her collection; put that on your calendar instead of the typical post-Thanksgiving stops.

Visit Vintage Martini, Archive Vintage, Zola's Everyday Vintage, Ahab Bowen, Heritage Auction Galleries, and Lula B's for our picks. And be sure to check back tomorrow as we close out Vintage Week with the most over-the-top, collector-worthy pieces available on Dallas' vintage scene.
