Most of us look forward to receiving gifts over the holidays. However, many North Texas children and seniors are not so fortunate. That’s why NBC 5 and the Salvation Army want to thank you for supporting the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
The Salvation Army will strive to collect approximately 250,000 donated Christmas gifts to distribute to an estimated 57,000 children and senior citizens in the DFW area. The gifts will be collected at 10 local shopping malls, as well as at more than 250 companies and churches that operate Angel Trees on-site so their employees and members can easily participate.
Please return your unwrapped gifts to the Angel Tree by Dec. 12. Donors may purchase the need, the wish or both.
The NBC 5 Salvation Army Angel Tree program will provide Christmas gifts to more than 57,000 needy people in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Ellis counties.
