Yes, that's a cow on Interstate 91 right over the border. There were actually two, and a cowboy saved the day.
A Massachusetts highway resembled an old Stetson cologne commercial on Tuesday when two cows escaped from their trailer on Interstate-91 near the Connecticut border.
Luckily, there was a cowboy stuck in traffic nearby.
Decked out in a Western-style hat and boots, the mystery man came to the heifers’ rescue. The cowboy lassoed each cow and helped load them back into their trailer.
The 500-pound cows were on their way to Enfield, Conn., when a latch opened on their trailer near exit 8 and the pair wandered onto the highway.
The highway was shut down for about 30 minutes for the impromptu rodeo.
