Flower Mound police are looking for a face-planting skateboarder that damaged an automated gate at a city park.

The department released a video of the incident that shows a skateboarder that attempted to jump over an automated gate at Twin Coves Park on August 16.

The rider unsuccessfully tries to leap over the gate, but gets his feet caught and smashes into the ground, face first.

Flower Mound police said the gate suffered over $200 in damages due to the collision.

The rider quickly runs away while a second skateboarder navigates around the damaged gate.

Police are looking for the public's help to identify either person in the video. Viewers can contact the FMPD at 972-539-0525 or the FMPD Crime Tip Line at 972-874-3307.
