Granbury's Dana Vollmer, fresh off a record-breaking gold medal swim in the women's 100m butterfly, is vying for another gold medal.
Volmer, joined by American swimmers Shannon Vreeland, Alyssa Anderson and Lauren Perdue, advanced to the finals in the Women's 4x200m Freestyle Relay after finishing with a time of 7:50.75 in the qualifier Wednesday morning.
Also headed to the finals are Australia, Canada, Italy, France, China, Great Britain and Japan.
