Dallas Cowboys safety Roy Williams sounds-off on all things Cowboys during a recent visit with Newy Scruggs.

Williams said he is a better fit for the 4-3 defense, talked about teammate Terrell Owens, leadership on America's Team and the overall state of the 2009 Cowboys.

He missed most of last season, 13 games, with an injury to his arm.

Williams knows there is talk he may not be with the Cowboys in 2009 because of his high salary.  The soon to be 29-year old may not have helped his chances when he said admitted he missed the old defense.

Dallas Cowboy Roy Williams talks about the differences between Bill Parcells and Wade Phillips.

"I'm not playing in the position I played in my first three years when Mike Zimmer (former defensive coordinator) was here and ran the  4-3 OK?  I got used in the defense.  I don't make excuses," Williams said.

Williams has played with the Cowboys for 7 years and was the 8th overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft.

In August of 2006, Williams signed a four year contract extension through the 2010 season.

In 2007, Williams was among 13 Cowboys selected to the Pro Bowl -- it was his fifth consecutive appearance.
