England has decided to keep Fabio Capello as coach despite the team's disappointing performance at the World Cup. Five days after a 4-1 loss to Germany knocked England out of the World Cup in the second round, the Football Association announced Friday that its board had "unanimously agreed Fabio is the best man to continue managing the England team."
That decision came even though England struggled through its first-round group. It drew 0-0 with underdog Algeria in Group C, and finished second behind the United States, a position that set up a tough second-round game against the Germans.
