Collin County drivers can expect more growing pains this week, as another major intersection is set to close for construction.
Stacy Road at U.S. Highway 75 in Allen is shutting down Thursday and Friday nights. All lanes under the U.S. 75 overpass will be closed.
U.S. Highway 75 will also be down to one lane in each direction.
The Texas Department of Transportation released the following closure schedule for the intersection:
Thursday, Feb. 25:
- Beginning at 7 p.m., southbound right lane closure to prepare for intersection to close.
- 8 p.m. Stacy Road intersection closed.
Friday, Feb. 26:
- 6:30 a.m. Stacy Road intersection to reopen.
- Beginning at 7 p.m., northbound lane closures to prepare for intersection close.
- 9:30 p.m. Stacy Road intersection closed.
Saturday, Feb. 27:
- 6:30 a.m. Stacy Road intersection to reopen.
TxDOT says contractors will be hanging beams by crane during the closure.

Meanwhile, the frontage roads will remain open. TxDOT will have barricades in place that will force westbound Stacy Road traffic to turn north to Ridgeview Drive, and eastbound traffic to turn south to Exchange Parkway.
