Sketch of Man in Dallas Child Assault Released

The attacker is described as either white or Hispanic and in his late 20s, police said. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and heavy-set with a tattoo of a sword or dagger on the top of one his hands.

Dallas police have released a sketch of a man who lured away a child playing outside and assaulted him.

Police said the man lured the child away from his apartment and assaulted the boy in the 13700 block of Montfort Drive between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The man is either white or Hispanic and in his late 20s. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and heavy-set with a tattoo of a sword or dagger on the top of one his hands.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective C. Ramirez at 214-671-4217 or Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case or another felony offense.
