A delivery man who was shot in the neck during a robbery last month has died.

Ruben Martinez, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at John Peter Smith Hospital after fighting for his life for two weeks.

Martinez, 29, was making a beer delivery for Ben E. Keith at the Buy & Save on the corner of Azle Avenue and West Long Avenue when he was shot during a violent crime spree that involved multiple shootings at three locations.

Jose Clemente Ramos and Mark Anthony Soliz were later arrested in connection with the shooting and robbery.

Martinez, is survived by his pregnant wife and their 6-year-old son.
