A man tells Dallas police he was shot while walking through a Texaco parking lot early Sunday morning.[[296435711,L]]
The man, identified as 30-year-old Mark Calhoun, told police he parked his car and was walking to meet a woman when someone shot him in the shoulder.
When police arrived at the gas station station they found Calhoun sitting on a curb with a wound to the back of his shoulder.
Calhoun ran next door when he discovered he had been shot. He was transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
Police said the gunman was sitting in a dark-colored Nissan Altima and drove away after the shooting.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and no further information has been released.
