Raffle to be Held for HOV Lane Dog

TxDOT/Dallas Animal Services

Dallas Animal Services is looking for a new home for the German shepherd rescued from the high occupancy vehicle lanes of Martin D. Love Freeway Wednesday morning.

Elvis the 8-year-old dog was rescued from the HOV lanes in the middle of morning rush hour.

With no collar, no tags and no one claiming him as their own, Dallas Animal Services will hold a raffle for the adoption of the German shepherd.

Sunday afternoon, anyone interested in adopting Elvis can go to the Dallas Animal Shelter to enter their name in the drawing.

The raffle will be held at 12:45 p.m.
