Police Search For Gunman in DART Shooting

Police searched for a gunman who opened fire on two riders in a DART train late Friday evening.

The shooting happened after a man made eye contact with another person onboard the DART train at the 8th Street & Corinth Station Friday night, Morgan Lyons, Dallas police spokesman, told NBC 5.

The man then pulled out a gun and shot the person who looked at him, Lyons said. The bullet only grazed the man, leaving a minor injury.

Another rider was also shot before the gunman ran from the train. The condition of the second victim was not immediately released. There were no officers on the train, according to Lyons.

Police continue to investigate the shooting. The gunman's name was not released, and remains at large, police said.
