A 37-year-old man is being held at a Central Texas jail after authorities said he confessed to sexually abusing multiple children.
Lacy-Lakeview police Chief John Truehitt told the Waco Tribune-Herald that authorities are investigating allegations of abuse dating to 1999.
Damian R. Jensen was being held Monday on a $210,000 bond at the McLennan County jail on charges that include continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Truehitt said Jensen was arrested after confessing to his pastor. Details of the investigation are being shared with other entities, such as Texas State Technical College in Waco, because offenses may have occurred in those locations.
Truehitt described the crimes as "egregious" and said some victims are now adults.
Online jail records did not list an attorney for Jensen.
