One person is dead and another is injured in a double shooting in Greenville, police say.[[385099361,C]]
The shootings happened in the 1900 block of Edgar Street at about noon Thursday.
When police arrived, they found two gunshot victims at the scene.
Both were transported to Hunt County Regional Medical Center, where one of the victims, identified as Dijon Marquis Alex, later died.
The second victim, identified as Jakoyian Deion Ervin, remains in the hospital.
The Greenville Police Department is investigating.
