Fort Worth Teacher Accused of Improperly Touching Student: Police

A Fort Worth middle school teacher accused of inappropriately touching a female student has been arrested and placed on administrative leave.

Officials said 24-year-old Handley Middle School teacher Nestor Torres touched a female student's chest while on school property in October.

After investigating, Fort Worth Police Department spokesman Daniel Segura said they arrested Torres and charged him with improper relationship between teacher and student.

Fort Worth Independent School District spokesman Clint Bond said Torres, who was hired in August, has been on administrative leave with pay since Oct. 14.

Torres' bond is set at $10,000.
