Authorities say they captured a 44-year-old man Monday who escaped a jail in Palo Pinto County Saturday.
Kitchen trustee Kevin Lee escaped from the Palo Pinto County Jail at about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, according the county sheriff. Lee was in custody on charges of assaulting a public servant.
Deputy Craig Goen had warned area residents to be vigilant while Lee was on the run.
"All citizens should take extra precautions, remove any weapons and keys from vehicles and lock them at their residences," he said.
Palo Pinto County Sheriff's deputies said Lee was arrested at about 11:45 p.m. Monday.
