At least two Patriot Guard Riders riding in the procession for slain ex-Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle crashed near Salado, Texas Department of Public Safety officials say.
Preliminary reports indicated that only one motorcyclist was involved in the crash, but now Belton police say at least two Patriot Guard Riders were involved in the crash.
The riders went down on Interstate 35 near Tahuaya Road, police said.
The procession was stopped for a few minutes as several Navy SEALS exited a bus to provide first aid to the victims before they were transported to area hospitals.
The conditions of the riders is not known.
The procession is headed to the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.
