Are dancing politicians the best way to get Dallas business?

A marketing video featuring dancing politicians and other Big D notables is raising some eyebrows and even getting a few laughs.

The Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau produced the video in an effort to impress 3,000 convention and meeting planners who are attending an annual conference in Dallas this week.

Everyone from Mayor Tom Leppert to Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to the Dallas City Council and even musician Vanilla Ice bust a move in an effort to lure business away from other cities.

The question is, are dancing politicians the best way to market the new and improved Dallas?

"You wouldn't be here interviewing me if it wasn't good," said Dallas City Councilman Tennell Atkins.

Even the leader of the Dallas Visitors and Convention Bureau, Phillip Jones, said the video is getting rave reviews.

"People think Dallas is just a business city," he said. "This shows them we can have fun too."

    We will let you decide.
