Arlington police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Sunday night.
Police said they received a call of shots fired on the 2300 block of Silverbrook Lane, inside the Creek at Brookhollow Apartments off state Highway 360, at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday; when officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man in his 50s, whose identity has not yet been released, was rushed to Arlington Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Monday morning the shooting took place after a disturbance between two people who knew each other.
Police said the person who pulled the trigger and a witness remained at the scene and were speaking to detectives.
At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
