The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Terrell.[[336414861,C]]
The shooting took place just after 3:30 p.m. Friday at a residence on the 15000 block of County Road 236.
The Terrell Police Street Narcotics Unit and the Terrell Police SWAT Team issued a narcotics search warrant at the home when a 50-year-old man was shot, possibly twice, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, was transported by helicopter to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. His condition is unknown.
No officers were injured during the incident. Further details have not been released.
